Kerry is a Data Analyst/Steward at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on the Enterprise Data and Analytics Modernization Initiative team. In this role, she is supporting the implementation of the new FEMA Data Exchange (FEMADex), a cloud-based data analytics platform. Previously, she was a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) Program Specialist at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where she acted as an advisor for employee resource groups at the agency and analyzed demographic data to identify barriers to equal employment opportunity.
Kerry served in Paraguay from 2015-2017 in the Environmental Conservation sector. Her site was an agricultural community near the city of Caaguazú. While teaching gardening and environmental conservation classes at the local elementary school, she completed a Yerba Mate Escolar manual for use by future volunteers and their Paraguayan contacts to complete agroforestry education projects. In addition to focusing on environmental initiatives with Paraguayan counterparts, Kerry was a member of the Peer Support Network and on the editing team of the Peace Corps Paraguay newsletter (the KUAT).
Kerry holds a B.S. in Wildlife Conservation & Agriculture and Natural Resources and an M.P.S. in Geospatial Services.
